live @ södra teatern

When preparing for our release party at Södra Teatern in Stockholm we found a file on the live-show computer called “intro i framtiden.wav” (intro in the future.wav). We listened to it and did not recognize it. Apparently we wrote this intro about a year ago. Anyway we added it to the live-set and this is the first time we play it live.

Thanks to Jakob Möller of Discoteka Yugostyle! for shooting and editing this clip for us!

Vi vill utforska hur saker hänger samman. Hur saker rör på sig i formationer. Vågformationer. Hur vågor i luften blir till ljud och hur vågor i de globala ekonomierna blir till upplopp.

I hela våra liv har vi försökt förhålla oss till hur vi ska leva i ett samhälle vi inte kan sympatisera med, som försöker få oss att göra saker som vi inte vill. Och i alla våra låtar återspeglas denna konflikt på ett eller annat sätt.

Vi har också dykt ner oss i hur olika vågor låter olika. Och hur det går att manipulera ljud i olika riktningar, att böja till gamla ljud så att de blir något annat. Vårt debutalbum börjar med en triangelvåg och slutar med en sinusvåg.
Albumet heter Waves och består av våra ljudvågor.
